For a town rich in nature and foliage, Maple has grown into a commercial, retail and entertainment hot spot within the City of Vaughan. With places such as Canada’s Wonderland, Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, Wegz Stadium Bar and Reptilia’s Reptile Zoo and Education Centre, there is no shortage of commerce and amusement-related activities within Maple. The town itself may very well be considered the epicentre of Vaughan, as City Hall, the municipal government headquarters, is located here as well.
